Internationally known South African conservationist, author, humanitarian and founder of The Earth Organization, Lawrence Anthony passed away on March 2. He was 61.
Lawrence was a good friend and I truly enjoyed his company. He made me laugh with his stories of wild adventures in Iraq while saving the animals of the Baghdad Zoo [VIDEO] and told the best stories of gorillas and Pygmys in the wilderness of Africa.
